    Crafty Wreath Makers... Come Here!

    Advertisements
How would you go about making this? I can see it's a yarn wreath so I know how to do that but what about the tutu material? (Is that what it is? Hard to tell.) How do you get that on? Glue it? Weave it through the yarn? Same with the eyes. I can do the cookies.

I just don't want to buy it on Etsy when I can just make it myself.

Also, about how much yarn do you usually need for one of these?

It doesn't look like yarn to me. It looks like strips of tulle are just wrapped around a green foam wreath form like the form was elastic for a tutu skirt.

My eyes must suck then because it looks like yarn to me Sooo then do you know how I would do that with tulle? That makes it so much more complicated, as of right now, because I can't even begin where to start!

I honestly think that the tulle is just wrapped and tied similar to a rag wreath but just more uniform and going outwards only.

Ooooo that makes sense to me... So like wrap the tulle around & then take more tulle & tie those fuckers in?

I would get a lot of blue tulle, cut it into strips however thick and long you want them, then fold the strips in half and tie them onto a foam wreath. You should be able to google tulle wreath tutorials pretty easily.

    That's cute!
Have you read pinstrosity? They might have tips about how to make it nice, I always check their website before trying a pin.
Here's a similar wreathe (#5 on the list)
