Dress blues ribbon board thingy question...

    Advertisements

DF had to get new board thingies for his ribbons for his dress blues to update them for the wedding.

Someone (aka: DF) got a little too ambitious and thought they messed something up and ripped some of the teeny tiny stars off his ribbons and then realized they were right to start with

My question is: what should we use to put them back? Super glue? Fabric glue? Hot glue gun?!

Pic of what I'm talking about...

If were talking about the ribbon rack, super glue should be OK. Make sure it's done by someone who has a stead hand and wont be too generous with the glue. I have done it to my own ribbons. Ribbons are just so expensive to replace once you have a few of them.

Sorry to say but I've never found a way to fix the ribbon racks. DH did the same thing and we had to completely start from scratch.

I know. I didn't realize it till he just got this one and then promptly screwed it up messing with it.

Thanks! I'll definitely let someone besides me do it...I'm notorious for putting too much

DH uses super glue but you have to be super careful or you'll leave splotches.

Might as well try super glue, maybe a thin eyeliner brush to get it on the star and then drop it on. Dang things are so tedious.

Tweezers and GEL super glue (both you can get at the dollar store!)
