    Question Bedroom furniture

Aspen Home Kensington Collection - Riley's Furniture
This is what we have in "layaway" that we picked out before DF deployed. Haven't ordered it yet though. He LOVES it; I'm not crazy about it. We're upgrading to a King when we move.

    I love this from IKEA
HEMNES Bed frame - black-brown, Queen - IKEA

My question is, do any of you have IKEA beds? What do you think of them? (We have tons of shelving/dining room table etc from there already)
We won't buy our mattress from there, but do you like your bed?

The suite I like from IKEA is also MUCH cheaper and since we're only going to be on one income, I think it's the more logical choice.

    Opinions?

I would do what fits in your budget better.

One other option is to just buy the frame only, and work on saving up money for the headboard etc. that you want.

I have a bed from IKEA that I bought as a teenager. It has held up well. I just bought the frame from IKEA though, I am not too keen on their choices when it comes to mattresses.

I have a bed frame from Ikea and I like it a lot.

Fair warning... me and exDB had a lot of on it one day, and during a session the bed slats slipped through and we fell After that I bought a bunch of velcro with sticky backs, and velcroed the slats to the frame and it's been perfect ever since. I think it will hold up for a long time.

I love the IKEA set. Now it's time to get DF on board. He said when we got the new house, we were NOT filling it with IKEA furniture

I'm hoping since it's $2,000 cheaper than what we had picked out, I can get him to consider it

We own other stuff from the hemnes collection and love it

Personally, I would go with the Ikea set.

Hemnes is one of the better built lines from IKEA.

Their mattresses have actually improved quite a bit in the last couple of years, but I would still probably get one elsewhere.

I'm confused, if you say you are upgrading to a King, are these bedframes going to be in King?
