The attack of the manly gun cabinet ...

    Advertisements
Stephen and I were talking about what we're going to move into our apartment when I move in during May and after his June Homecoming ....

He wants to put his gun cabinet in the living room ... but we have a small living room. He said I can decorate the apartment how I want to, but WTF do I do with that thing?!

He's all like "Babe, at Christmas time, we can decorate it with lights and a big red bow". I told him I'd rather HIM wear the big red bow

Then, he told me that the guns will keep me safe during the month that I'll be living there alone. That's comforting. Between my culinary knife kit and his ridiculous cabinet, I feel like my apartment doesn't even need a security system lol.

How do I make a gun cabinet-bearing living room still feel girly and ... welcoming haha

What does the gun cabinet look like? What's it made of? Is it a locking wood cabinet, or like a metal gun safe?

Would there be room in the bedroom for it? I was always confused that my dad kept his in the basement... if you need a gun wouldn't you want it closer to you and not the bad guys?

My husband keeps his in the "man cave". It's the only room I allow him to touch.

    Haha.

Hahaha that's so true! Umm, there's not a ton of room, but I guess I'll have to deal. I'll post pics .... in May when I move in haha. My friend said I could take fake flowers and put them along the top of it to add a feminine touch. Maybe a picture in the middle.

if it's decently pretty it could look nice as long as it's not like a metal vault
does he have it already or is he getting it? get wood furniture to match the finish and it will probably be fine!

I think if it's the wood cabinet type, you can decorate with it.
