    Our apartment!

    Advertisements
On Wednesday, DH and I moved into our apartment for the next two years.

It's been a lot of work trying to get everything we need for it and make it feel like home... expensive, too

We have a lot left to do/buy, but here are some pictures!

He never makes a normal face in pictures

The first thing we bought was the bed There weren't many option that we liked for bedding, but DH loved this one so we got it. I feel meh about it.

    Bathroom! I love these colors

DH's baby (the tv) and our entertainment stand/shelf.

Now I just need to get cat stuff for our furbaby! We're hoping to adopt a kitty this week

    That's all for now!

A picture paints a thousand words, it's true.
But it's still not enough for how I feel about you.

We did! I was SOOOOO excited! Especially about being close to the gate - but since we dont and wont be driving, it'll be good to be near the NEX.

But it's still not enough for how I feel about you.

Oh I agree about IKEA too. And In Japan they will deliver it AND BUILD IT FOR YOU!
I also recommend going out to Costco (the one in Makuhari is the best, but there are others closer), they often have couches and dining furniture fairly inexpensively and it won't be the same as everyone else (Something you will realize when everyone shops at the NEX furniture store and every house you go into, you either have or have had that piece of furniture in the past )

ETA: Costco also delivers! But you will have to sign them on base (for IKEA too).

Yeah, I'll measure in the next few days I don't think they're all the same, though. I think it depends on the tower. The two bedroom floorplan and video that housing shows is different than what we're in. Has the same features (laundry room, breakfast counter, pantry, etc) but doesn't have the same setup/dimensions.

Yeah, we're planning to go to IKEA sometime and also the Depot. Probably in a little while, after we save some money and pay off some of what we've bought. We have the loaner furniture for 3 months.
