    Textured/"popcorn" ceilings......

    Advertisements
If you have them, how do you keep them clean?
I tried my blue fuzzy duster thing, but it just gets caught on the texture pieces and then I have blue fuzz stuck up there too The broom is too much, it knocks the texture pieces off (not so sure that's a bad thing at this point, seriously considering removing the texture). I did discover today that my vacuum does a pretty good job, but it does such a narrow strip at a time that my arms keep getting sore/falling asleep from being held up over my head long before I've made much progress at all..............

at my parents house... we kept it clean by....

    Scraping it all down.
That texture is such a horrid one. It is fairly easy to scrape off, but takes forever.

Other than that, vacuum is the only other option. Sorry

Vacuum. We would have to do it for my great grandmother!

I'm now sitting here staring up at my ceiling wondering if it's dirty because I've never cleaned it lol. It doesn't look dirty? Every now and then I'll notice a cobweb but my little swiffer duster thing takes care of those.

Exactly! Is it bad that I think it gets cleaned when it gets painted?

I've never cleaned a popcorn ceiling. Except when we moved and had to repaint every frickin ceiling thanks to the chimney, aka MIL/FIL.
