Pantry Questions
Off my kitchen there is a huge pantry/closet. When I moved in, the lady I bought the house from left me all her cleaning supplies. There is a ton of stuff in there. Because of that, I've never stored food in there.
Now I'm starting to accumulate more food and I don't have enough room in the kitchen cabinets. Would it be safe to store foods in the pantry area with the cleaning supplies or would that be unsafe? Here is a picture:

Where is the best place to store stuff like that? In the garage? Under the sink? |

I always keep my cleaning supplies under the sink. Go through the stuff and figure out what you will actually use and what you won't. That's a lot of extra space you could be using that looks like it's being wasted now!

Sounds like I need some shelves in the garage. My garage is the most boring garage ever. DH hasn't actually "lived" here yes, so there is very minimal things in our garage.

I just use those plastic shelves you can get at Walmart.. I had one in the garage for "my things", and then I used one in the hot tub room, for the chemicals... They are SOOO handy, and you can take them apart.. so you can have 4 shelves, or 2.. they work good in the laundry too.. too keep that stuff on!
