I just did my Dining table center piece for Fall/Thanksgiving. And I was thinking that I don't have "Thanksgiving" dishes... not that anyone does.

But, I have my everyday that are Fiesta, and I have China, and I have China Christmas, and I have some vintage "Starglow" plates that I use during the holidays to supplement the others.

Anyway... I was just thinking and typing... and that was it.

My wonderful MIL hooked me up with sage green Longaberger Woven Traditions. I

them and I'll be forever grateful that she got them for us. There is no way we could afford them.

We haven't gotten them yet, but I'll have my dishes next week at my shower! We registered for the scarlet and cobalt Fiestaware. My mom has all the colors and I love how bright and cheery they are. DH despises it, but it was the one thing I pushed for when we registered.

You are going to LOVE Fiesta ware... I was shopping for new everyday dishes last spring and my daughter said why don't you try them...

So... I ordered a service for 10. Plates... They are the bomb... She got me the bowls for mother's day. I don't know why I did not do that before!

I got the Crimson, Sunflower, Lime, Tangerine, and Teal... 2 each. She also suggested to go with the different colors for everyday.

I hope to get some mugs soon. I just keep procrastinating. LOL.. that is the only reason.

I want to eventually get more colors and mix-n-match them. That's what my mom does. I'm really hoping for the pasta bowl, that's the one thing I reeeeally want. My mom also has a bunch of extra Fiesta silverware that she said we could have.

Is it durable? I'm worried about shipping it when we PCS. I know it's not like Corelle, but I hope it can survive!

I have a platter in the Red also... I collect Platters.. I want to get the BIG one, and the big salt and pepper set. A butter dish would be fun to.

I just ordered these and I am SO EXCITED. I usually just use standard white but wanted a change this year.

I have plain white dishes from Ikea so I can use them for any occasion.

My china is also white. Pretty generic right? I can spice things up with tablecloths and such, but I am lazy and I never do.
