Question about First Time Homeowner credit???

So dh and I finally received our tax credit for our new house..which is great cause we need it! lol but here's the thing we received $140 over on the $8000 which doesn't see like a big deal but and we also received another check for a good amount! We are happy but iffy cause we have no idea what this other check is for.

Has this happened to anyone? If so what was the extra money for? We are going to call the IRS tomorrow just to make sure the money is ours and not a mistake...We are that it is ours cause we could sure use it! lol
