Fire Safe Box - Homemakers Homemaking

Do you have a fire safe box in your home? If so, what is in it?

Yes, I have one.

It has our wills, our marriage cert., our birth certs, our SSC's.. hm.. other important papers.. bonds.. hm.. i cant think of what else.

Marriage license, birth certificates, SS cards, tax paperwork, and a full backup of our computer.

no we have a safe deposit box at a local bank because my parents had one and because it was not bolted to the floor it was stolen.

We have 2

one holds our medical records, marriage certificate, ss cards, other important papers.
our 2nd one has dh's diploma and a few other items, i dont really remember

We have the one that is in the pic above and one that is large enough to put file folders in... we put all of the normal fire box stuff in it, along with all of my photo cds.

we have a large file one, it has our passports, marriage and birth cirtificates, ss cards, bonds, immigration stuff and some other bits and pieces

I am getting mine filled up now, so thanks for all of the responses ladies!

There are definitely some things I didn't think of putting in.

Does anyone keep cash or credit cards or anything like that in them?

Oh I do. I keep my extra debit card, a JUST IN CASE credit card, and 300$ cash, again JUST IN CASE!

My parents have one. I need one but what I really what is just an out and out fire safe rather than a box. That way I can keep my passport/mortgage dogs/birth certif/savings bonds in it but also my scrapbook and some things other things that I would die if I lost
