Apparently at some point today, I spilled EVOO on my new sweatshirt!!! I just freaking cut the tags off of it!!! Is there anyway to get this out? I've pre-treated it with detergent. Like a capfull on the spots and then sprayed a ton of SHOUT on it. I didn't notice it until it had already set though.

Is there anything else that I can do? DB bought it for me when I went to see him, and I really don't want to have to explain to him why I can't wear his college's sweatshirt and miss him now.

Try some oxyclean spray stuff... It got some tea out of my light carpet after it had set in for a week. Spray it on, rub it in good and leave it for 10 minutes. Come back at it with HOT water.

.. or i dunno if they sell it near you but its called grease lightning.. that stuff took out everything!

Use a grease cutting kitchen cleaner (make sure that it doesn't have bleach in it!)... I keep Lysol Kitchen cleaner in my laundry room because I'm always getting EVOO on myself. (Not sure how I do it, but I know that I'm a complete klutz!) I'm telling you, that kitchen cleaner does the trick. Just spray it on, let it sit for a load (let a load wash), then throw it into the next load. If you happen to not spray enough on the spot and the item goes through the dryer, don't worry. You can repeat the process again, just make sure to saturate the spot again and rub.

Thanks! I actually have some industrial grease cleanser. I don't know why I didn't think to try it earlier. I guess I was too busy freaking out.

Hopefully I get it all out though.
