What color to paint my office - Homemakers Homemaking

I'm stumped on this one. I have a purple leather chair that is SO comfortable that will stay in there, so I need a color that works with that. I also have a couple of accessories with Red and Gold in them, that will stay in there.

Suggestions?

This is my purple chair, diploma frame, and the roses are the accesories I was talking about, that are staying in this room.

Bookcase and desk. I'll probably get a new desk at some point.

To the right of the little bookshelf is a window, but I didn't get a picture of it.

Could you find a light lavender for the walls?

I'm going to be generic and say a beige

Maybe lavender or some sort of yellow.

I vote lavender! Awesome suggestion! It is calming but shouldn't get you TOO calm when you are trying to work

I was debating between a lavender type color or a darker beige. I don't know if my husband would like lavender walls
