Non-stick vs. hard anondized cookware - Homemakers Homemaking

Which is better? What the pros and cons? Educate me please.

I know nothing about cookware other than that I hate the stainless steel set I currently have.

I have teflon at the moment, it isn't really non stick cause you still have to use oil or something. The teflon is starting to come off, so I am in the market for some new ones too

It seems the same to me.

I have hard anondized cookwear now. Prior to that, I had non-stick.

Me too... I didn't like either, so I'm working my way back to stainless.

Non-stick is cheaper so I'll just go with that if they're the same.

You can get anodized non-stick

The cheap non-stick that is made with teflon arent as good because the teflon flakes off after a while. Gets into your food etc.

We have Caphalon one and we went for the non-stick which is also anodized. We bought the set almost 5 years ago and it's still great.
