We always spend around $150 on groceries. It makes my head spin every time. I'm used to spending $20 a week when he is gone.

That happened the first few weeks with us, because so many things that you'd normally have on hand, you need to buy... like spices and random stuff like that.
Our bill evened out to about $200 for 2 weeks of food after I had all the basic spices, flour, sugar, etc.
It's definitely shocking at first though!

We are also a family of two. Last week we ould have spent that much if it hadn't been for the $55 in coupons we had.

It's not unusual for us to spend that amount about every 4-6 weeks. We stock up on alot of things at once. With last week's shopping trip ~ we also planned our menus for the next 6 weeks.

SO for the next 6 weeks all we will need will be milk, bread, eggs.

My husband does our grocery shopping and I just asked him. He said he spends between $400-500 a month, but that is without the dog food + I eat for around $8 every day at work for lunch and then his lunch. Vojne vojne

That's about what DH & I spend every two weeks. Idk wtf we are doing wrong. My Dad could feed a family of 6 for two weeks on 150 dollars!
