Themed dinners?!?
Anyone else do theme dinners during the week?!
For example, I'm thinking of making Mondays reserved for Mexican night...starting tonight. ![]() Tuesday can be for Italian Wednesday can be Asian night Thursday leftovers Fridays will be reserved for Pizza. I will make personal sized pizza crusts then the kids, my husband and I can add our own toppings. ![]() Saturday will be for grilling out. Sunday will be Southern |

We don't do theme dinners like that ~ other than Sundays are our "Fend for yourself day" We use to have it Fend for your self Friday but DH's schedule changed.
We plan menus ~ a week at a time. Currently we have our menus planned for several weeks. While we don't have a set day for Mexican, Italian etc ~ there are several weeks that have various cuisines in them.

That's a cute idea. I think I might try it when he gets home. I did a theme dinner once. He LOVE Obama and I am a stanch republican (obviously we don't see eye to eye). So, for the inauguration, I researched what Obama's favorite foods are. I went and bought all his favorite snacks, drinks and made his favorite at home meal which is Chili, I actually used is recipe for the most part. I like your theme idea though, I want to try that.
