    Blood on shirts

    My daughter had an accident this afternoon. I got a some blood stains on my shirt. I was wondering if anyone knew a good way to get them completely out.

    Try not to let the blood set on there too long. Soak the shirts in COLD water, then spray on Shout or some of that oxy-stuff for laundry. Wash the shirts in COLD water, and check to be sure the blood is gone before putting them int e dryer. If you still see blood, spray them again and let it sit for a half hour or so.

    the best i know of is to soak the garment in hydrogen peroxide for a while.

    Peroxide works if you have nothing else for stains, cold water in the wash and peroxide directly on it before washing. Dont dry it til the stains are out.

    my grandma always uses shaving cream.....and more often than not it works!

    thats what i was about to suggest.

    my MIL told me it will come right out if you put it on right when the blood comes into contact.

    hydrogen peroxide!!!!!!!!!! Lucky got bit on his nose and he got blood allll over my Grandmother's bedspread. I noticed it the next day. Poured hydrogen peroxide on it, and it all came out!! Of course wash it afterward!

    oxy clean always works when my husband bleeds all over his work clothes. oxy clean and cold water.

    def hydrogen peroxide....but you can always try a stain lifter like previously discussed...also my mom told me whitening toothpaste works too lol....idk it def works because i did it last week
