That's how much ours ways, too. Of course, my daughter picked the biggest pumpkin she could find ( a 20lb-er ) . Our total so far is $12.60 plus $6 for the hayride out to the pumpkin patch We still need to buy a pumpkin for my son!

Wow!! I thought I spent a lot. My hubby is still grumbling about it I went to the commissary yesterday to get my son a pumpkin and they were $4.50 each but they were all pretty nasty. I see the perfect pumpkin in the produce section and put it in the cart.. not noticing that it was .99 a lb The total was $5.78 and the cashier wouldn't delete it from my other stuff so I returned it. I got $6 back because they included the surcharge! I'll be hitting up Wal Mart today in hopes of finding a pumpkin for my son

Ours are .23 cents at the commissary - so we have five of them.

I paint three of them with our names - the biggest for DH, then mine, then a smaller one for S.

Then I have another big one that I painted Welcome Home! on for DH, and another good size one for him to carve if he makes it home before/on Halloween (cross fingers).

I am used to spending $20 per pumpkin back home, so this is a bargain!!

.39 per pound. I think we paid around 2.50. I'm used to paying way more than that for a pumpkin so I was proud!!

We paid 3 dollars each & they were pretty big ones.....I voted 8-10 range because we bought 3...one for each kid to decorate & one for me to carve which I did yesterday.
