    Memory Foam mattress topper?

    Advertisements
DH told me on the phone a couple days ago that he'd like to get a memory foam mattress topper, and that I should just buy it now, instead of waiting for him to come home. He's hoping it will help with my back and general sleeping problems.

I am just wondering if anyone has experience with them? Anything along the lines of what brand is good, how thick it should be, pros or cons?

Thanks in advance for any help / suggestions you may have!
    Oh, hey. I'm back!

We got ours last year from Sams Club. It's 3" and we love it. We're trying to put off buying a new mattress for as long as possible and this seems to be doing the trick.

I bought one from Target. I don't remember what brand it was, but I want to say it was like $50 or $60. Anyways, at first I loved it. But after a few months, it really started to make my back hurt. I think it was just too soft for me. I refused to take it off the bed cause I had spent so much on it, but finally I had to give in last month and take it off.

I have a 2" one and I wish it was thicker. I love it though.

I slept on a 4" one that my Grandmother had on a bed in her house, and I was not impressed. I don't have back problems or anything, but I just thought that it was generally uncomfortable. I prefer a good pillow-top over the memory foam any day.
