    DB and I are moving into our apartment hopefully on friday!! but reguardless we are moving somewhere shortly. We are getting our furnature at valuecity! and were looking at mattresses there but the cheapest one was 600!! I do no think so the mattress would be almost as much as the freakin bed! does anyone know where we can get a king mattress for cheappppp!!

    See if you can talk them down on the price. We got ours about half off because dd my research and talked them down.

    You can also try big lots . I have seen nice mattresses there.

    99% of what we own is from Ikea (co-worker discount ) and we got all our mattresses from there. They have all kinds of types and priceranges.

    I think that they are all going to be pretty costly. We got our from Costco (calking) and it was around $800. Maybe check out craigslist

    Try going down to a queen size. For one, Kings are notoriously difficult to fit into many apartments without overtaking the entire room.

    Also, queens are usually much cheaper...

    I just bought a queen pillow top Serta for about $700..so you may actually be getting a great deal.
