    Question Cleaning a starchy iron

    The elderly man that I take care of likes a LOT of starch on his shirts. How the heck do I get it off the iron? I have tried vinegar, baking soda, everything!

    DH also keeps a wet waxhcloth handy to use the iron on just as soon as he is finsihed ironing. Helps to keep the build up down
