    Help Help! Need tips...

For ironing cammies! DH wanted me to ask if anyone had any? He just got a new set and they refuse to stay flat! He's steaming it but it just refuses to stay flat. So, if anyone has ANY tips on ironing and how to keep them flat, please do tell. It would be much appreciated! Thank you in advance!

When DH has ironed his (the few times he has) he will spritz it with a little bit of water then iron from there. He hardly irons his so I'm not too sure of any other tricks.

My DH said heavy starch (spray in can) and then iron. Good luck. DH irons all his own uniforms and my scrubs to. I can't iron worth a darn!

My DH use to wash it, starch it while wet and hang dry. After that, iron. They would stay crispy for weeks.

Hm, well he asks if you can get away with using starch? Apparently you're not supposed to in Battalion. As for the water he uses steam. He says that its not staying PERFECTLY flat but for the most part it does. He also thinks its cause they might be newer too.

Get StaFlo liquid starch, put it in a spray bottle, and use that to coat the uniform completely. Hang them and let them dry, and then iron them and they'll stay flat. Iron on the hottest setting. Hope this helps!

i know what you mean, my MIL didn't use any starch, just used steam when she ironed and spritzed the uniform with water as well from the iron. however she did take quite a bit of time ironing the uniforms. but they were always completely flat.

i don't use starch on my dh's uniforms either but i can make the creases look like there is starch don't ask me how i do it.. because i don't even know lol.
