    Advertisements
Ok so DB are moving into our first house October 1st and all I can think about is decorating it and making it all cute.....

So I was wondering what color schemes (wall, pillows, ect) are your rooms in your house?

    Pictures are welcome!!!

I just want ideas for paint colors and color schemes!

We don't have any color on our walls because we rent. But, we have cherry wood furniture in our bedroom, with red and chocolate colored bedding and curtains. In our living room we have cherry wood tables and sage microfiber furniture. In our kitchen we have a wine theme, with lots of different earthy tones, and again, cherry wood table.

We are in base housing and all of the walls are "eggshell white". I am pretty sure we can paint them if we wanted to. I have had half a mind to go to self help and see. White gets boring and dull after awhile. I am just not sure if I want to spend the time painting them back when we leave here (which isn't any time soon).

We rent so we can't paint but our bedroom is black/white/red also and our living room is brown/blue. It's way messy right now or I'd post pics.

Walls are all white (we rent) and the only other rooms that have "themes" right now are the family room and kitchen. My bedroom isn't done (we can't decide) and the rest of the house isn't my stuff. Our kitchen is black, white, and red. I love the 50's diner thing, and when we buy a house I plan to even put in black and white checkered floors. The family room is brown and red. I want it to be warm and inviting and comfy, so I am going with warm colors and comfy over sized furniture. I have two giant brown couches in there and a really long looped shag rug, lots of candles, etc. I also have some of those wooden letters than spell out stuff like family, home, and laugh.

    Good luck decorating your house!
