    Packing Lunches

Does anyone pack their kids lunches daily? What about your husbands?
What do you put in them? Do you always send the same stuff, or try to vary it?

My mom always packed a lunch for my brother and I when I was a kid.

It usually had a sandwich, dessert type thing (think snack pack lol), chips, and carrots/veggie with ranch dressing. Not the most creative, but she always added a special note in each of them too I :love my Mommy

Oh, and I think your siggie rocks too!

We're going to be making lunches this year... the high school went up to $2 for lunch and I'm not even sure what the elementary lunches are at now. Ods is going to make his own lunch daily, I will have the three elementary kids lunch done the night before. They have insulated lunch bags and thermos bottles. I was going to send juice boxes, but why have the added expense, KWIM?

ETA: They can pick the kind of sandwich they want the night before. Chips will be bagged up as well as a fun snack... cookies, etc.

I make my DH's lunch. He gets a sandwich (he picks out what kind of lunch meat he wants for the week), a pudding cup, a fruit cup, a granola bar, and usually either peanutbutter cracker sandwiches or I'll cut up some cheese and send him with cheese and crackers, he usually get some grapes or cherries or something fresh like that too. He doesn't necessarily get all of those snacks in one day, I try and mix it up a bit.

My DH gets a packed lunch. He would rather have homemade and it is to hard to come home for lunch every day.

I pack Andrew two ham and cheese sandwiches with Miracle Whip and lettuce, an apple and a Star Crunch. He drinks water at work.

    He doesn't like change.

I pack DH's lunch, some type of sandwich (mainly turkey or PB) chips, granola bar or one of those little Debbie snacks. My kids are not school aged yet.
