    Windex for carpet stains...

    Advertisements
    Really works
We had a couple of hard to get up stains and we were fretting over calling in a proffesional...did a little research, found a great site with lots of ideas(http://members.tripod.com/~Barefoot_Lass/carpet.html), one being windex

All I did was spray the area good, scrub with a carpet brush and then scrubbed it with a towel and plain water to avoid any blue marks.....voila...stain gone

Works great on grease/oil stains too

    HTH someone here

Wow! I've never heard of that one before!!! It won't be much use to me though since the only carpet we have is that dark coloured horribly thin, office-like carpet. It hides everything. But, I'm sure it will come in handy in the future! Thanks for posting Judy!
    Needs work.

Windex is awesome. We used it all the time on the farms I worked at to clean walls, bars, anything that needed cleaning. We even detailed the barn once (owners were just slightly neat freaks) and used windex to clean all the fly poop off the rafters and walls.

If given the choice I'll pick Windex to clean anything anyday!

I windex. Back when I used home hair color I used windex to get the dye out of my clothes and it always worked. Plus, I always managed to get dye on my face... windex works miracles!
