anyone have a good swedish meatball recipe?

Looking for a good swedish meatball recipe. A crockpot one would be great!

Oh yes....Let me get my mom's recipe together in a bit....YUMMY....

Combine the following together and form meatballs.

1 lb hamburger
1 cup bread crumbs
1 med onion chopped
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cornstarch
dash of allspice
1 egg
1 cup milk

Brown in frying pan until firm (thay don't have to be cooked all the way thru)
Remove and put in crockpot

In same pan you cooked meatballs, add
2 cups of water
3 beef boullion cubes
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper (more if you want)

get all the scrapings off the pan, then add 3 tblsp of flour to make gravy.
Make sure you wisk it really good to get all the lumps out.
Pour gravy in crockpot and cook on low all day!

yay! Ive been looking for a good tried and used one! Thank you for sharing that....I love swedish meatballs!

I didn't end up having all the ingredients for Parkwoodmom's recipe so I had to kind of make one up

So I ended up making my meatballs with...hamburger, pork sausage, bread crumbs, an egg, garlic, salt, pepper, worcestershire sauce, and just a dash of tabasco. Then I cooked the meatballs in the oven for 45 minutes.

Then I mixed the sauce... 2 cans of cream of mushroom, 1 cup of sour cream, 1/4 cup of milk and added in the meatballs. They are cooking in the crockpot now until dinner time.

We are gonna have them over noodles.
