So to try and help save a little money, I want to try making some of my own house hold stuff. What are your fave home made cleaners, detergents, bath and beauty supplies etc? Recipes and links too please

Vinegar and baking soda makes my grout happy and white again. Also makes the 5 year old in me giggle.

I've been making my own laundry detergent for about a year now. It's saved a lot of money. No-Grate Homemade Laundry Soap | One Good Thing by Jillee

I swear by vinegar and baking soda. FOR EVERYTHING! I even use it as a type of "Drain-o".

Laundry detergent for not crazy hard water is equal parts fels naptha soap, borax, and washing soda and then a few drops of essential oil for the scent, we do powdered. For hard water, it's two parts each of borax and washing soda to one part fels naptha.

My all purpose cleaning is vinegar, water, and a hit of dish soap. For surfaces that Wyatt is around (like his bathroom, toys, etc), I use baby soap, instead.

For a while, I did the no shampoo method and washed my hair with baking soda and apple cider vinegar. It wasn't for my hair and the conditions here. I was also pregnant which changes my hair like crazy, as well, so you could totally try it. I still do an apple cider vinegar 'strip' about once a month on my hair, that really helps my hair.
