Question Washer and dryer in base housing?

    Advertisements
I was looking at houses to see which are available in camp Pendleton and I had a quick question; do the 2 bedroom town homes come with a washer and dryer? On the website for the housing development, it just says there is a washer/dryer hook-up.
Does any one know? Or did you have to buy your own?

From my experience from renting around, if it says "Hook Ups" Then no there most likely is not. You would have to buy your own and put it it.

Hope someone can answer you tho. But that is what it has meant in all the apartments we have rented.

When my grandmother bought her house they said "Hook Ups" and she had to buy a set.

We've always had hook-ups in stateside base housing and had to provide our own washer and dryer.

"Hook ups" means there is no washer or dryer provided, but they can be (literally) hooked up if you have/rent your own.

I agree with previous posters you have to get your own usually. Call the housing office and ask them what type of hookups you need (gas, electric) or see if there's a camp pendleton spouse page, that's where I got my information about a lot of things for our housing.
