Eventually we will be moving our laundry room into the garage. Apparently the thought of how to drain the washer hadn't crossed my husbands mind. We were chatting about it and I said well the drain will have to go in the wall (duh) why do you think I said to wait on putting in the new flooring?

His reaction: "WHAT???? We can't do that. Do you have any idea how much work that will be and how much it will cost????"

Me: "umm.....ya. How did you think the washer would drain"

Him: "I figured you could put the hose outside the door. Thats what I was planning on doing in the shop."

Me: "

You can't do that!!! Do you have any idea what kind of mess that would make in the yard not to mention how lame that is?"

I have NO idea what he was thinking.

Not to mention the smell sometimes. My mom has a hose from the house going over the driveway and into part of the front yard, her front yard is 1/2 and acre but it goes by the sidewalk so people still have to walk by it.
