Is there any ones that offer faster results than the at-home tests that take a couple of weeks?

Is it for popcorn ceilings? When was the house built (if that is what it is for)? I believe asbestos was banned in 1978 (but i could be wrong).

That's what we were told too (our house was built in '81). But then my mom sent an article saying it was used until 1984.

hmm I don't think there is

Honestly it could STILL be asbestos, since even though lead paint was banned it was still being used illegally and passed off as non-lead based paint. I know that because my mom's house had lead paint and it was so very fun to deal with.

Well I'll at least pick one up from Home Depot and maybe they will have an option to expedite the results...

yes, there is one in mission valley that will do it while you wait. Google 'asbestos test said diego'
