CA ladies... CalVet Loan? - Home Sweet Home

Anyone heard of this? I stumbled it across it today when I was reading the news, and wondering if anyone knew more about it? I just found the site and I am reading up as we speak, but just looking for any experience or knowledge?

I did a little googling and came up with:

though from what I'm reading, isn't it just like a regular VA loan? Just a diff name for it?

Yeah, well that's what I thought, but then our realtor told us that we could use a VA loan to pay for the 3% down payment costs required, so that it would be zero down... it also has a lower interest rate than the current VA rate, so I wasn't sure! We are applying anyways, figure it can't hurt to try!

Not sure about the CalVet Loan. My colleague's father is in military and he took his loan from Militaryloans.com . “They are the best” is what I always here from him.

That's some good spam since that company is considered predatory lending. Please no one use this company. My neighbor did and paid 34% APR!!!
