Well today we get our first walk through of the house i've been oogling. So any thoughts or advice on what to ask?
so far i have: who pays closing costs? how much is heating/electric what are all the updates that the previous owner has done (i know they did quite a bit so...) so i'm sure there is more then that! Bring it on ladies!

Well, both those questions aren't really something that should be asked during a walk through. Depending on what your offer is, the closing costs will be paid accordingly...and a lot of the time, the sellers might pay PART or ALL of them, just depends what the contract is for.
As for heating/utils, that really depends on your energy usage, how many things you have running in the house, how much water you use, etc etc. You can ask about the schools in the area, the neighborhood, what percentage of the neighborhood is renters vs owners, etc etc... You can ask about upgrades and stuff though... carpet... water heater... what appliances convey with the house... |
