USAA App Taking longer?

I filled out the pre-qualifying loan stuff this morning with USAA and got an email saying that it hasn't been not approved, it just isn't in instant answer.

Now i'm nervous.....

Our credit isn't bad. We're just fairly young (24 and 25) and not a lot of debt but we have our share. Although we pay on time always and more than not we pay above minimum. Hmmm....

they may just want to review the application further. in other words you don't qualify for instant approval but maybe you will qualify if they look over stuff. kwim

Ok not that i think we won't qualify....i'm just curious....if one place says no is it likely someone else will say yes?

i'm sure interest and such will play a big factor but.....just curious.

yeah but not any particular house. Just curious as to how much we're looking at before we go look out of our price range.

Yes, different lenders have different criteria - where one may be unwilling to extend credit to a borrower another may be more than willing.

when you get preapproved you will know exactly how much house you can get
