Scrapbook wanna be

I would like to start scrapbooking and breezy has offered to help me. but i was just trying to get some ideas. I want to do one for my DS who is 3 and he is into Thomas the Tank trains and I figured that since he is into that I can do one. But I havent bought any supplies yet and I dont really know what all I need to make one. What would be some things I could do to make one.

Well, I think first its a good idea to figure out if you want a growing scrapbook, that can be added to as he gets older or if you want to make a scrapbook about a specific subject or event.
Then you can work on a theme for your pages (which will save you lots of time and cash at the craft store). In your case you pretty much already have a theme, Thomas the Tank.
You'll need some paper, an album, adhesives, pictures of course, journaling pens. You can also have embellishments (little decorations for your page, like stickers, etc).

I am gonna do both. but i havent bought any supplies yet. Breezy wants me to come over and see what all she has before i go buy anything. But I can order the Thomas the Tank scrapbook though and its only 29.99 plus tax and shipping. and they have a bunch of sticker sheets to im gonna order too. plus they have some letters/numbers. and then i thought i would take some pics of his trains he has here at the house and with him playing with them. but i guess i can take them on our digi camera and my hubby can download them and print them out too.


thats the first one i thought i would do. and then when i finish that one i will start one about his life too. i dont know how many baby pictures i can find. but i need to dig some up so that scrapbook might not start for awhile. its gonna be hard for me to find a time to work on it between working full time and then going to the gym 3 nites a week and one day on the weekend. so maybe the only true day i would have to work on it is on sunday when robbie is taking a nap LOL.
