For all those who sew, how hard is it to learn to sew a simple pair of drawstring pants?

I've never done that. I took a begginer class and we made a skirt, other than that I've only done very basic and small things.

I think the tricky part is the actual patter and lining everything up the way it needs to be... that and getting the string into it! LOL!!!

I've done all sorts of sewing - corsetry and things like that.
Sewing drawstring pants was so quick and simple! I made a bunch of shorts and pants for the kids and myself one year (we were broke, al I had was a ton of fabric)

Of all the clothing to sew - drawstring pants and scrub-shirts are the easiest.

i agree. it was really simple for me!! but the string part was tricky lol i actually put the string in it longer than i wanted it and sewed the top around the string...does that make since lol? then i just made the string to the length i wanted it and presto new pants! lol and they are really comfy!

Not hard once you get the hang of the machine, or hand sewing just practice
