    I need your help!

My MIL gave me a TON of pictures with no rhyme or rythum. I don't know what are events or the timeline of any of these images.

However, she has asked me to make a scrapbook of all the images for all of her kids. This is 3 seperate scrapbooks for all the pictures.

I am stumped as to where to start. I suppose I can guess timeline for most the images and put them in like that. But there is no way to journal or note what any of the events in the pictures are. So far all I have done (in the yeah and a half I have had the pictures) is I started Tim's with all his school pictures in grade order (from my guess).

Any ideas where I can start?

I don't always put my pages in the album in order so to speak. I just randomly put them in...so there maybe one from when dd is a baby, then the next page may be when she was 5, and the next from now, and the next back to baby.

If you don't know a time line, I'd say just mix it up and do what you think looks best. Maybe do a theme on some pages and put pictures that match that theme, together.

no not really...I just put them in the book as I do them. I mean it's scrapbooking...not precision kwim? Everyone is different though in what they prefer. I only have single pics of some of my scrapbooknig pages right now...I don't really have them in the order they would be in the actual books.

I've started toying with scrapping here lately, and I didn't go in any chronological order so to speak.. The few pages I've done are all in order by age in DD's book, but they weren't done in order.. Maybe just trying to find some cute papers and stickers to go along with a couple of the pics (to get you started on the project) will help!

Well, I'm what I am and I'm what I'm not
and I'm sure happy with what Iíve got
I live to love and laugh alot
    and thatís all I need

For my scrapbook I try to do it in order. But if some things are going to be out of order (or in your case you don't even know where to start) I'd go with themed pages. Maybe do a few pages of when they were little, and then getting older or holidays birthdays other special events etc. That way you kinda have more options! Good luck!! I love scrapbooking!
