    Help me find a pattern?

    Advertisements
I want to make a knitted ear warmer like this: https://www.etsy.com/listing/9114057...-shop-header-4

I LOVE it... everything about it. I don't love the price tag, and since I can knit, I figure I should give it a shot. I've done a preliminary pattern search, but haven't found anything quite like it. I figure you ladies have been crafting a lot longer than I have though, so maybe you guys know something I don't.

I can also crochet, although I'm not as experienced, but if that widens the search, I'm cool with it. I could definitely use the practice

Ravelry.com is my go to for things like that. Usually, even if you can't find an exact pattern, you can modify one already there.

ETA: This one is kind of close http://www.cyn.ca/knit/patterns/bamboozled/

Ohhhh, both of those are awesome! Thanks. I knew someone would know how to find what I was looking for, lol. I think I'll get both and do whichever is easiest first, haha.

Yay! I'm glad I could help!

Sadly, this just inspired a bunch of stuff I'm going to beg my MIL to make for me. (Sad for her.... )

What the heck is a cable needle? I think this might be a little advanced for my skills

It's a needle that holds the cable stitches that are going to end up on the top (the puckered bit that makes the cable) so you don't drop them while you knit the regular stitches. I hope that makes sense. I haven't actually knitted in a while. I use the knook because it's less tedious.
