    Color Combination Help

    Advertisements
I'm planning on knitting a chevron blanket for Emmett but I suck at picking colors for stripe patterns with more than two colors. Most indecisive person ever when it comes to colors and when I do pick, nine times out of ten once the yarn (or whatever) shows up, I'm not happy with the colors side by side. I was going to just do a two color pattern but I really like the idea of doing five colors like the pattern shows (not completely sure if you can see the pattern without a ravelry account but here's the link anyway: Ravelry: Chevron Baby Blanket pattern by Espace Tricot).

So, I need help. Spam me with pictures of color combos, for a boy, for this blanket! This is the yarn I'm planning on using and all 40 or so colors that they have so you can choose from here, too Brava Worsted Yarn - 100% Premium Acrylic Worsted/Hvy Worsted Knitting Yarn, Crochet Yarn and Roving

I like the colors on the ravelry blanket, but instead of pink do a lighter blue and a darker blue....

I'm on my phone so it's hard to list the colors, but I would make it like an ombré thing, from the darkest blue to the lightest blue. Or maybe even greys.

I literally put that exact same pattern from ravelry in my favorites last night! I'd love to see it when you are done!!

In terms of colors I'd go with the colors on ravelry but instead of pink I'd do blue.

S I went through and looked at everyone's colors and ended up ordering the colors in the pattern but placed dark blue and a medium blue in the pink's places Thanks everyone! It never occurred to me to take the pink out and it in blue
