    Fabric flowers!

    Advertisements
I've been contemplating making my own bridal & bridesmaids bouquets (fabric) for our wedding this year. I don't have anything against real flowers... I'd just rather not pay so much money for something me and the girls are going to hold for a couple hours I watched a couple tutorials and decided to use one technique I saw and just do one on my own (the white one below).

Here's an example of what I like:

Here is what I made tonight:
(test fabric from a thrift store)

    What do you think? Do-able?

I'm estimating a cost savings of about $500... think its worth it?

That turned out great, I think it looks great. You could also keep them and save a lot of money!

That's really pretty. I think you'd like broach bouquets as well if that's what you're into. A friend of mine made hers for her wedding & it was much more beautiful than any flower I've ever come across.

Here's an example (from google - don't want to use my friend's without her permission)

"Thank you so much. No matter what, nothing is possible without you behind the scenes bustin heads and takin names. Thank you again. Everything you have done for me means a lot and nothing has gone unnoticed. I love you so much and thank you for saying 'I do.'"

That first bouquet is gorgeous. I love the lace on it.

I think if it fits into your wedding and "theme" then go for it! They are beautiful.

I love it. I think the broach bouquet is overdone and can be more pricey than real flowers.

This is elegant and unique in my opinion.
