Breezy, SezzySue & other photo gals

What type of computer do you gals use for your photo editing, storage, etc.? Bryan seems to think it's a proven fact that MACs are the best for it. We're in the market to buy a new laptop and an Apple is the best.

Any opinions or suggestions are greatly welcomed. Thanks a bunch!!!

    I use my Toshiba Laptop
I know that some people use Macs but most that I know don't.
As for the back ups I right now only use discs but I take them to a place and have them put on disc and then I download them to my computer and put them on another disc and I do backups usually once a month or so.
Looking as an external HD for Christmas though

I just bought a Gateway laptop. I was not going to buy an apple because then I can't take things back and forth between computers as easily. I like using what I know. Apples are nice but why spend the time to reteach yourself something you already know. Its not the equipement that makes the photographer.

I'm an amateur photographer. I have a Dell laptop with an external hard drive for all my pictures. I've been working with Macs as well for almost 10 years, and honestly, there isn't much that a Mac can do that a PC can't. I have all my photo editing programs on my laptop, and they work just fine.
