Has anyone ever made one? Are they difficult? Expensive? Tons of results pop up on google but I was hoping for some personal experiences. Chris said he's starting to get cold at night and I thought it would be cute to make him a blanket. Share your stories if you've made one, and pictures are welcome too =)
ETA: This is the type I'm thinking of. Only I'm not sure how I would go about making it have two sides like this one seems to have ![]()

They are really easy. All you do is cut the edges into strips and tie them together. Instructions can be found here: http://www.linusidaho.org/finishafleeceblanket.htm

They are easy! My 12 year old dd has made her own already. I've made several for each of my kids... I've also precut them and tied them on road trips, it's a great way to kill time!
She used these instructions when she made hers: http://www.joann.com/static/project/...ket_pillow.pdf

You girls are making me hopeful lol. Keep in mind though I'm the girl who's completely anti-domestic...I don't cook or clean or do any of those wifely things lmao. I'm trying to get better while he's gone so I thought what's more domestic than making my darling husband a blanket??

They are SUPER easy! I make them all the time for gifts!!! In fact, I need to get on making a couple more to have for our house, to just curl up in now that its getting colder at night!

I forgot to add that my two doxies each have one as well... I haven't found enough doggie fabric to make my Great Dane one yet.
