Hobbies - Hobby Lobby

I need a hobby really bad. I stopped playing a game online because I felt I was spending to much money on getting rare items. So now I need a hobby...aside from reading, what would be a good time consuming hobby?

Quilting, photography, knitting, scrapbooking... just to name a few!

Scrapbooking... I agree.. It's so easy to pick up and you can do it in small sessions and see your accomplishments happen.

Quilting is another... My first quilt was hand pieced squares, that were cut from old clothing I had and such. It was a baby quilt size.

I need a hobby too! I'd suggest knitting, mainly because I wanna try it lol!

If you are going the needle/hook route... crochet is easier but (in my own opinion) knitting results in better quality and better looking stuff. crochet always looks cheap to me.

I just recently learned how to knit, and it's not hard at all! I got a book geared toward teens from the "klutz" brand

and picked it up ok by myself. I like it because needles and yarn are cheap

whereas with scrapbooking, which I also do, can add up really fast. Scrapbooking is awesome though once you have your basic supplies built up.

I cross stitched my way through two pregnancies. It kept my hands busy and out of the food, and I was able to create something for both the kids. But I haven't done anything in years. I can blame the bifocals on that though. It's not as easy to read the charts as it used to be.
