    TOS/Rules for Military Pride

    Advertisements
I was about to post something, and then I realized that I wasn't sure if there are special rules for the Military Pride Section. I know H&R has the "only happy rainbow kitty land" rules, for example. Is there anything special about the MP section, or are posts there okay as long as they follow the general rules (not name calling, no vague callouts, etc.)?

I looked around a bit and couldn't find anything. TIA!

I have never seen actual rules for the military pride section but I think generally it is a "safe zone" where you can't critique the post like you would in the general forum. So more along the lines of the hugs and rainbows area.

I know that I replied to a post in the military pride area awhile back with some critiques and was told that because it was the military pride area, my reply was inappropriate.

As far as I know you can disagree and debate in military pride. I've seen it before here. Not sure if that's what you're get at...

ETA- here's the specific example i was talking about.

Military pride and hugs and rainbows are the two forums on MSOS that can be posted in without debate, critique, or backlash. So yes, Military pride is similar to hugs and rainbows when it comes to what you can or can not reply with.

For the sake of clarity - can you provide the link to where the rules for MP are laid out?

Yes please. I looked and couldn't find it spelled out anywhere. Is this just an unwritten rule?

Also, can you help my understand what exactly that means? If you say, "I love telling people from other countries to fuck off because America is the best!", can I say, "I don't think it's especially productive to do that, and I don't think the US is inherently better than any other country"? Or would that be considered a critique?
