    Blocking a Forum

    Advertisements
I know there have been threads on this, I did a search, and I can't figure it out. In one thread I saw someone say it was in your User CP under Edit Options and I've looked and looked and looked and I just can't find it.

    Miscellaneous options?

It says exclude forums from get new posts but I haven't seen one that specifically hides that entire forum.

It's at the very bottom of the Edit Options page. There's a list of the forums and the top it says something about exxluding these forums from get new posts....just click on the ones you want blocked and hit save.

Got it! I think I figured out the problem. I use work safe mode instead of the regular MSOS mode and for some reason the User CP's are different between the two. Once I switched to standard MSOS mode the option was there. Strange!

You can only do it to not show up if you use new posts. If you don't use it the forum is not blocked. To do so go under user cp, click "edit options". Scroll to the bottom where there is an area that says "Exclude forums from New Posts". Go through the forums listed and highlight to hid said forum you wish hidden. Than save.

Again, it only hides from new posts not for good.

No worries, new posts is how I browse MSOS anyway. Thanks for all the help ladies!
