showing 40 posts at a time - Help Desk

I tried finding something on this, but I had no luck. How do you change your settings so that on threads it shows 40 posts at a time? It takes me forever to read some of them and I saw where someone said that you could change it, but they didn't say how. If someone could tell me that would be great!

Go to User CP -> Edit Option -> scroll down to Thread display options -> third little box changes post per page

go to your User CP and go to the Options menu. under Thread Options or something similar there will be a drop down menu you can choose from
