I think it is just lots of activity. Meaning your board is a busy board.

Its a listing of forums that have achieved big board status (over 500,000 posts). Its not really a big deal, but we will be the first military spouse forum

so we'll be special

You can see the sites here www.big-boards.com Its basically just a directory of "big boards" (busy forums).
