how many people do you have to have to cook a full thanksgiving meal?

i'm doing it for just dh and i this year because it's our first thanksgiving

DH and I did a full meal last year. I'll do it again this year and it will be just me!

Ummm well it depends lol for my DH it's usually only the two of us and he still cooks everything he wants because he LOVES thanksgiving. So if you want the food and think you will eat lots of leftovers (my DH loves the leftovers lol) then I say make it.

yeah that's one reason too i love love love turkey sandwiches

and i could eat an entire pumpkin pie in one sitting. lol Libby's Pumpkin Pie filling is delicious--that's my recipe

Normally we have a few friends and some single Seabee's.... Not this year it is just dd & I and I refuse to cook big... Probably going out, or doing a smal turkey breast.

I would get the smallest turkey you can find and have lots of freezer containers handy for the leftovers. It would be fun to have a candlelight Thanksgiving dinner!

There's usually about 10+ depending on who shows up.

Our first Thanksgiving in Groton, I cooked a whole meal, and we took in a single guy.. so it was just 3 of us for dinner.. but we had tons of leftovers... YUM!

We're not having one this year because I'll be in the UK. Normally, we'll invite over some sailors who are stuck on their own for Thanksgiving so I'll cook for 10.

We always have at least 6 or more people here, but even if it was just my husband and me, I'd do a full meal. I love Thanksgiving food.
