Who here is doing the Christmas Eve box?

    Advertisements
And what are you putting in it?

    Here's Gavin's

    -Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
-Santa Claus is Comin to Town
    -Frosty the Snowman
    -Frosty Returns
    -Mr. Magoos Christmas Carol
    -The Little Drummer Boy
    -Cricket on the Hearth
(DH has never seen them )

And then some popcorn for DH & I. We already have enough hot chocolate.

I had no idea it was a "thing".

Every since my oldest's first Christmas, I've done new jammies and a movie with snacks. Now, all three kids get it every year.

We always do PJs and a stuffed animal- haven't shopped yet. Lyric's will probably be some kind of princess and Damien and DH's will be superheroes as usual.

That's cute, I"ve never heard of that before!

When I was little we always opened all of our presents on Christmas Eve, because my parents wanted actual Christmas Day to be about religion and not so much focus on presents. I like the idea of a treat on Christmas Eve though and still having presents the next day.

I feel out of the loop with some of you knowing about this already. I never heard about it being done before this year.

I really like this idea especially not being around family. Growing up, we would go to my grandma's house and have dinner/open family member's presidents. Christmas Day was strictly for just us and presents that Santa/parents got us or other family members that didn't attend my grandma's... basically my mom's side of the family.

I'm getting myself Cookie Monster pajamas. It's a good excuse for a new pair, right? DH only wears boxers to bed so he gets nothin!

This was the one thing DH was actually really into.
