What to do with all that Halloween Candy????

Go to this site and see if there's a place near you that will "buy it back". They then ship it to troops overseas who either eat it or pass it out to kids where they are to build relationships. I think it's pretty spectacular as a military spouse AND a personal trainer! It's a win-win! YOU don't end up eating as much candy and you kids don't either. You can also teach them that they're doing a good deed by helping some deployed soldiers. I will let my daughter keep some of her favorite...maybe fill a small bowl with some that she likes and then we will donate the rest!

Why would you ever do that? The leftover candy is the best part of Halloween!

Because I'm old, have a horrible metabolism and am a personal trainer and my kids don't need to be hay-wired with too much candy. And it does something positive for our troops overseas and teaches the kids a lesson in generosity...and candy is bad for you and moderation is DIFFICULT when you have POUNDS of it sitting around!
