Ok, so there is a Christmas tree thread going (Show me your christmas tree/hanukkah bush!) so I figured we needed an outdoor Christmas / holiday light thread... Like our own Candycane Lane tour.

    Let's see yours!

    I like!

I'm not decorating much. Maybe Christmas wreaths front/back doors and some small stuff from here: Holiday*|*LTD Commodities

I am though tempted to buy one of these: The Light Flurries™ Outdoor Light Show*|*LTD Commodities

We haven't done much yet since we traveled for Thanksgiving. We got the front post tree up on Sunday. My husband managed to get 2,000 lights on this tree!

The rest will (hopefully) get done this weekend!

DH and I did the icicle lights. I did the blue and white tree. This is the first year we did lights outside. We ran out of lights. Next year (if we don't move), I want to outline the windows and garage door. Maybe put Santa Claus on a sled with reindeer on the roof above the garage or snowmen in the front yard. DH wants to do a light show accompanied by music, but it was too expensive. Maybe if we had kids to appreciate it and help out.
