30 day "I'm thankful for" challenge **DAY 1**

    Advertisements
So I know I'm posting this idea rather late. But I've been seeing a lot of people doing this on Facebook tonight and I love it. So I wanted to bring it here to MSOS.
(I haven't seen anyone else post this so sorry if they did and I just missed it)

Basically every day through November, I'll post a thread where we can all share 1 thing we are thankful for.. each day "giving thanks" to something new!

So here it is DAY 1!!

Today I am thankful for my job! It can be tedious and stressful but I work with great people, and truly enjoy being at work most days. It provides me with enough money to have nice things and pay all my bills. I also get the opportunity every day to help people get a college education and better their lives.

Now, what are y'all thankful for today?

I'm thankful for my family/framily (friends that have become family) who have been on this roller coaster ride with me. It's been a crazy, rough, tough, sad, angry, and bitter year for me. Without them I wouldn't be as sane as I am right now.

I am thankful for my DB, he's been a wonderful man and stuck out some tough stuff, and it's only been a few months. I can't wait to see what our future holds.

I'm thankful that I got into such an excellent Nursing program at an amazing university. I'll work my ass off to prove to everyone that I'm going to make a good Nurse.

I'm thankful for the mercy that God has shown me. He's put up with more of my crap than anyone else and He still loves and welcomes me. It means more to me than I can express.

I'm thankful for the ability to go out and buy a new phone, clothes, etc when I need to. I know everyone doesn't have have the same luxury and I need to remember to be grateful for it.
